UNAPPROVED MINUTES OF OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS

SPECIAL MEETING – FEBRUARY 4, 2015 – 5:15 P.M. – STICKNEY SCHOOL LIBRARY

A Special Meeting of the Corsica-Stickney Board of Education was held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 5:15 p.m at the Stickney School Library. Tom Oster, DEC presented the list of superintendent candidates to be selected for interviewing.

Members Present: Jeremy Wright, President, Bob Bamberg, Chad Clites, Shannon Tolsma, Nicole Bamberg and Don Odens

Members Absent: Jason Lagge

Officers Present: Merna Bye, Corsica Business Manager and MaryLee Podhradsky, Stickney Business Manager.

President Jeremy Wright called the meeting to order and a quorum was established.

Executive Session – SDCL 1:25:2:1)

At 5:16 p.m. motion by Shannon Tolsma seconded by Chad Clites to go into executive session to review the superintendent candidates as presented to the Corsica-Stickney Board by Tom Oster of Dakota Education Consulting. Delared out of executive session by President Wright at 6:56 p.m.

Member Bob Bamberg left the meeting following executive session.

Other Items Discussed

The board spent time reviewing information that was obtained from the Collective Bargaining Seminar held in Pierre and also directed the business managers to place an ad in the local newspapers for the classified positions for the Corsica-Stickney School District.

There being no further business at 9:20 p.m., motion by Nicole Bamberg seconded by Don Odens to adjourn.
