Corsica Area Community Foundation (CAF)

April 25, 2003

The CAF met Friday morning at 7:00 at Cheryl’s Place. Present were Cheryle, Dick Roger, Gary, Mark and Sylvia.

Minutes were read and approved.

Cheryle Van Zee brought a check from Community First Bank for $2,0000.00 to be added to the Community Savings Account.

Gary Van Roekel contacted Dwight Beukelman and Dwight has made a lot of contacts and wants to come down for a meeting next month. Set 5-15-03 as a tentative date to meet. Will contact Rich Cutler, attorney to attend as well. Rich is a big advocate of community savings accounts.

Dick said he would continue to follow on his prospect.

Roger will get in contact with Rich cutler to help contact prospective contributors(Northwestern Public Service) and (Sioux Valley Telephone). Sylvia was assigned names.

Thursday morning 5-1-03, the Globe will take picture of Board painting the sign showing $10,0000.00 has been attained of the $50,000.00 goal for 7-1-03.

Discussed, needs to establish prospective non-profit recipients of savings account returns so donors will know what their money is going for.
