MINUTES OF THE CORSICA AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION (CAF)

April 17, 2003

The meeting of the CAF at Cheryl’s Place on Thursday, April 17, 2003 was attended by Roger Bordeewyk, Gary Van Roekel, Dick Bordewyk, Cheryle Van Zee, Mark Spitzenberger and Sylvia Zomer.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Treasurer reported $5,000 donation with possibility of additional $5,000 from Tom Gerlach.

Dick Bordewyk commented on possible donor he had talked to. Felt good contact.

Decided to get names of prospective donors to Roger by Wed. 4-23-03. Roger will type names and bring to meeting on Friday, 4-25.03. Will choose names of possible donors by different board members to contact on a one-on-one basis.

Reviewed names of people that attended July 25^th meeting with John Lillibridge.

Reviewed letter that Dick and Mark put together. They stated need to make contacts to meet July 1, 2003. Goal of $50,000 to $12,500 matching funds.

Cheryle Van Zee said she would make a business contact for possible donation.

Gary Van Roekel will get back in contact with Dwight Beukelman.

Next meeting is Friday, April 25, 2003 at Cheryl’s at 7:00 AM.
